Austin-based musician Travis Weller and I will be collaborating on a new work for solo marimba + computer -- watch for the premiere in Fall 2008.

I have designed a new concert poster and it has just been printed. The new posters replace the old ones, which were from the dark ages (before my performances utilized 3D, high-def, computer-generated sound projection) :)

My January tour went well and now I'm back in the frozen north. Thanks to eveybody at the venues who made everything go so smoothly — and thanks to everybody who came out to see the show!

Composer Stephen Dembski completed his new composition for solo marimba + computer in December. I gave the permiere performance of Calcium Late Nate in Madison, WI on December 15.

Composer Allan Schindler will be writing a second work for me (solo marimba and three-dimensional, high-definition computer-generated sounds) - tentatively titled Take Flight. Allan Schindler recently received a grant from the Fromm Foundation which will fund the composition of this new work. Take Flight will be featured on my next recording project (Summer 2008)- a hybrid multi-channel SACD of new works for marimba and computer entitled POWERED FLIGHT.
