Microseism: For Percussion and Computer-Generated Sounds (2000)

This composition is for one percussionist playing a multiple-percussion setup - along with CD playback of the computer-generated sounds. I think the piece works very well as "curtain raiser" or a finale for a recital. It is published by Keyboard Percussion Publications.

Movement for Marimba and Chamber Ensemble (2003)

A work for solo marimba with flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, and bass. A short work - written for performance in my concerto examination at the Royal Academy of Music.

Interior: For Timpani and Computer-Generated Sounds (2001)

Written for four timpani, no tuning changes. It is very free, almost improvisational in effect - written to contrast with Microseism.

Thesis: For Percussion Solo (1998)

For multiple-percussion solo - in three sections.

Transcriptions »
Sonata in D Minor, J.S. Bach:

There exists a transcription, for keyboard, of J.S. Bach's Sonata in A Minor BWV 1003. The author of this transcription is unknown. At one point, it was thought to be the work of J.S Bach himself, as he did create transcriptions of many of his works. However, contemporary scholars assert that it is most likely the work of J.S Bach's eldest son, Wilhelm Friedman Bach.

I have created an edition of this transcription for performance on the marimba. It is published by Keyboard Percussion Publications
